Jamye R. J. Hansen

Before joining Interconnected Technologies, Jamye built a career in IBM based on deep technical skill paired with business and organizational understanding developed throughout his career. He made his mark on IBM, building on a passion for the personal and business use of technology and embarking on a career that included direct support of customers, and serving as solution architect for the worldwide design, deployment and support of over 300,000 workstations across IBM.

Jamye began his I/T career even before graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder. During college he participated in the Microsoft transition from Windows 3 to Windows 95, and built a skill set sufficient to be to be hired to head IBM Boulder’s deskside support team for its emerging Windows customer base.  His work in Boulder caught the eye of IBM headquarters units trying to determine how best to provide Windows service throughout IBM. Within two years Jamye joined the world-wide headquarters senior architects group to direct IBM’s Windows support and deployment strategy.

He has been part of the IBM corporate security group, the hardware evaluation team, and provided leadership for 20+ large deskside organizations and numerous helpdesk organizations around the world. His expertise allowed him to coordinate strategies, roll-outs, and new solutions for 300,000 workstations across the entire diverse set of IBM organizations worldwide.  His work was further recognized with several patents for IBM. 

Jamye returned to his technical roots in 2015 when he joined Interconnected Technologies. He is delighted to be able to apply his deep technical skill and business knowledge to help Interconnected Technologies’ clients make the most of their investment in technology.

Jamye is a third generation Coloradan, who lives in Firestone with his wife and children.
